GOD'S CALL TO VOLUNTEER MISSIONS
In Acts 1:8 Jesus said, "you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." If you have truly received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, you have received God's Holy Spirit at the moment God saved you. You became His child (John 1:12).
Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, "Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit". In both Acts and Matthew, Jesus' commands to us are clear, we are to called to share the gospel (Good News) at home, in our nation, and to the nations of the world. We have already received our call to missions. The question is not, "is God calling me? or "should I go?" The question is "where does God want me to go?"
You do not need to pray for God's call to go. You already have it!
