Conformed vs. Transformed
--Conformed is putting on something that does not come form the new nature in you.
--Transformed means to change your outward look to match your inner being—to live out of your Holy Spirit side.
    *Transfigured same word (Matthew 17:1-2)
    *Another use of same word (2 Corinthians 3:18)
    *One day we will be like our Lord (John 3:2)
“By the renewing of your mind—we must train our mind in a new way.
--We are commanded to have joy (John 17:13, Philippians 4:4) We must let the Holy Spirit produce joy.
--Fear grips our minds to prevent our having joy. What can we do
do to stop this? God’s Word can. (Philippians 4:6-7) This is the
       formula for “renewing our minds” and for getting from fear to       
       peace.
        *Don’t worry about anything. The heart and mind must be kept,
        but we can’t control our hearts and minds. What is the remedy?
        *”Let your requests be made known unto God (4:6b) How? By
        following steps that involve three special words: Prayer,
        Supplication, and Thanksgiving.
        *Prayer—means worship and adoration and praise. Before you
        make your request known to God, praise and worship and adore
Him. How? Just realize you are in the presence of Almighty God
and His Son the lord Jesus Christ and pour out your heart in praise and adoration. This is the beginning point.  Use the Psalms as part of your prayer: Psalm 118:28, Psalm 145: 1-2, Psalm 67:5-6.
*Praise our Father and our Lord Jesus for who they are. When you do this, where is your mind focused? On your problem or on your lord?
