Our Present
As we began our consideration of Phase II plans we should keep our prayerful deliberations within the framework of God’s will as directed by our Pastor and expressed through the mission statement and core values of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. With each decision the Phase II committee makes, the following quesitons will be applied:Phase II Committee Questions:
- Does it appeal with energy and creativity to everyday people?
- Does it enhance the opportunity to experience Christ?
- Is it consistent with Biblical priorities?
- Is it inviting to lost people? Does it compel them to come?
- Does it inspire people to grow?
- Does it inspire people to exercise faith?
- Does it bring glory to Christ?
- Does it enhance the unity of the church body?
- Does it inspire people to serve through their time, talent, and treasure?
- Does it demonstrate good stewardship reflecting what God can accomplish?
