We do everything by the clock. We get up by the clock, go to bed by the clock, and do everything in between by the clock. Our Lord does everything by events. He has particular events that will take place from now to eternity. We will examine them in this study.

Beyond the Microwave

Are your tired of drive-thru dinners, cold cereal, or microwave meals? Do you burn water? If you answer yes to either of these questions, then join us for Beyond the Microwave. This is a 6-week class that will teach you to cook delicious, healthy meals for one or two people. One-skillet meals, crock-pot meals, and meals for the freezer.

Parenting with a Kingdom Focus

Parent is a verb. It’s work. There is more to parenting than just making kids do what you say. So, let’s work together this school year to learn God’s standards for parenting our kids. Parents with kids of all ages are invited. This journey will include teaching, small group discussions (by children’s ages), prayer, and accountability.

If you are a lady who has recently moved, we have a ministry with you in mind. Thsi group will look at both the spiritual and practical sides of your move - whether it has been across town or across the country. We will examine what God's will is in this move and how to make your new house a real home.

Caregiver Support Group
Faciltator: Larry Kulcke
Sooner or later, we may all find ourselves in the role of a caregiver. The purpose of this support group is threefold. It offers support - a joining together of people who are surprised by the joy of discovering that others are experiencing similar trials. Secondly, there is a trusting, sharing, and ministering environment where participants minister to one another the consolations of Jeus. Lastly, the presentation of information offers biblical and social assistance to group members.

Are you looking for a Bible study and a project all rolled up in one? Then join Kim Sims as she leads us in Bible study and prayer for our George Elementary mission. We will spend time in God's Word and in prayer regarding being mission-minded as well as work on service projects for George Elementary. You will learn about ways you can serve at George and help Colonial Heights fulfill is commitment to the Battlefield community.
