Support Groups

Support Group Ministry is offered Wednesday evenings at CHBC beginning at 6:00 p.m. Various groups are held that address sensitive issues and topics facing society today. Childcare is available.

Beginning March 5, CHBC is offering an 8-week support group designed specifically for caregivers. The goal of this group is to provide a safe place where caregivers can voice their experiences, joys, fears, tears and laughters. Hopefully, it will also be a time of ministry through the sharing of helpful information and options for the caregiver. Caregiving almost always involves families - parents with physically or mentally challenged children, children with disabled parents, spouses with disabled mates due to stroke, cancer, catastrophic injury or Alzheimers. The facilitators for this group will be Sonya Rohrman, President and founder of Living Services located in Jackson, MS and Larry Kulcke, Pastor of Pastoral Care at CHBC.
