WHAT IS SERVANTheart?

SERVANTheart is a support ministry that works in coordination with all the other ministries of Colonial Heights Baptist Church to recruit and place workers needed for the optimal functioning of those ministries.  It flows out of the Biblical principle that every believer has been created in a unique way in Jesus Christ for works of service that glorify God and build up the body of Christ, the church.

The goal of SERVANTheart is to connect every CHBC member to his or her appropriate place of service.

"To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." Ephesians 4:12-13, 16 (NIV)
