Missions

Once you receive “spiritual life” by being “born again” into God’s family, through faith in Jesus Christ, you’re ready to experience God’s loving fellowship and purpose, and experience life to the full!  It is a journey of faith and growth.  It is a journey to share with friends.

Colonial Heights’ ministry of Global Missions provides opportunities for every person to know and experience God,  and become personally equipped and involved in purpose fulfilling experiences.  In 2 Corinthians 5:17-20, the Apostle Paul says that as believers we have received,  1) a new life in Jesus Christ, verse 17,  2) a new life purpose - a ministry of helping people come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord, verses 18-19, and  3) a new life message - the privilege and responsibility of sharing the gospel message with those we meet everyday, verses 19-20.   We are all God’s missionaries to those across the street and around the world.

There are many opportunities for you to be involved in Global Mission ministry in the Jackson metro area, in North America and all around the world.  In Acts 1:8 Jesus said that we would be His witnesses in our own community, in our own country, and around the world.  That's what we're doing at Colonial Heights.
